Located on Victory Run, a branch of Big Sandy Creek, Victory Township, Venango. The furnace was built in 1843/1844. Also known by the names Hay's Furnace and Victory Run Furnace it sits at the bottom of a gully looking very much like Aztec ruins to those who just kind of stumble upon it in the woods. Just a reminder to those that seek out this or other furnaces climbing on them can damage these awesome pieces of construction and help to crumble away our past.

Located off of Route 8 south of Franklin PA with plenty of room to park off the road.
Dates of Operation: From: 07/14/2011 To: 07/14/2011
