HIGH SPRINGS HISTORIC DISTRICT 1885-1940. 266 buildings, 218 of historical interest. Mainly Frame Vernacular residences. A few Victorian and Revival-style homes, including Queen Anne and Gothic. Several residential neighborhoods and a small central business district. The development of the district coincides with the period when the town was an important railroad center. Public and Private.
