Description
Canopy supported by four ornate columns set into a square base all constructed in Portland Stone.
Within it is placed a calvary cross with a bronze figure of Christ on an oak cross.
Inscription in bronze lettering on the front face of the base of the canopy 1914-1918.
In 1998 the bronze figure on the cross was stolen in February. It was returned in the same year.
The memorial was unveiled and dedicated by the Bishop of London. The cost of the memorial was £800 and erected in 1923.
The names of the dead are placed on the memorial inside the church (NIWM 58665)
