The published coordinates take you to the parking lot and trailhead. The parking lot is fairly small, only 14 parking spaces with one dedicated for wheelchair access. The trail just recently opened back up after the flooding, a few days ago this entire area was under water.
The trail wanders along the Weber River. The main trail heads north to the Riverdale city offices about 1.7 miles away. There is a very small branch that heads up north but it is still under construction.
The trail is beautiful and is surrounded by dense trees and undergrowth. You will find Cottonwoods, Wild Roses, Russian Olive, and Willows dotting the countryside.
