Lourinhã is the "Capital" of dinossaurs in Portugal. Some unique species like the Lourinhanossauros, Lusitanosaurus or Dinheirossaurus have been discovered here.
This statue was built so everyone crossing the town of Lourinhã became aware that they were crossing a place where dinossaurs were very important.
