This globe is actually a sculpture called "Earth Shade". The artists are cited as Ross Architecture, Inc.. Worn Jerebek Architects, PC, and Todd Wiltse.
The work, sponsored by Peoples Gas comes with a message to conserve energy and reduce global warming.
