2009 saw the first time that this new development was used to host the final Formula 1 Grand Prix of the season, and it was also the first day-night race. There are many fabulous developments happening in this regio of Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, and from first hand experience I can recommend a visit to the island, and, if possible, go see the Grand Prix!
