St. Vincent Morrilton - Morrilton, Arkansas - Hospitals on Waymarking.com

This hospital had it's beginning in 1925 as a 14 bed facility in a private home. In 1937 it dedicated a 29 room facility with a laboratory and two operating rooms. It was known as St. Anthony's and was situated on a hill overlooking the Arkansas River to the South with distant mountains in view to the North. In 1965 a bond issue for building a new facility was approved by the voters and in 1970 the Conway County Memorial Hospital was dedicated. It later took the St. Anthony's name again. In recent years it has become affiliated with the St. Vincent Health System and has taken the name St. Vincent Morrilton.
