This is one of a few artistic chairs located on Chicago's Navy Pier.

This is one of four pieces located here by the artists Suzanne Rampage and Sara McLean. This piece is entilted "Summer" and the other three works are named after the other three seasons. This piece has a floral mosaic design all over the couch...although much of the arms of the chair have been worn away.
A placard indicates the sponsor as Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.
The works are located near (and part of?) the collection of the Smith Museum of Stained Glass on Chicago's Navy Pier.
The hours of availability are not readily available online...but based on when businesses are open near the Museum.... it would appear that the artworks can be viewed from at least 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is no charge.
