Juliet, from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet...the pair of tragic teenage lovers from rival families.
This statue is a gift from the people of Verona, Italy (where the play takes place) to the people of Chicago, Illinois verified by a sign at the foot of the statue...and dated June 29, 2005.
The sculpture is located outside the Chicago Shakepseare Theater.
