Located inside the Woodlawn Cemetery and available dawn to dusk.The monument is placed in a small oak grove that is dedicated to the soldiers along with the plaque it's self that is a plaque in stone affair designed by Alex Anderson.
"This tablet is placed in honour of those who answered the call of their country"----"These oaks stand a living memorial to" (see photo) "Who gave there lives to save a priceless heritage - liberty.----World War 1917 - 1918----by Canadohta chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.
The trees and plaque are on the side of a small hill that leads to several soldier's graves and a cannon from 1859.
