Located in a collection of other mosaics and stained glass works in the Smith Museum of Stained Glass on Chicago's Navy Pier, this work depicts an abstract supernova. The 2010 piece is entitled "Supernova" and is by artist Yulia Hanansen using layered glass.
The hours of availability are not readily available online...but based on when businesses are open near the Museum.... it would appear that the artworks can be viewed from at least 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is no charge.
