This chair is one of a few located near (and part of?) the collection of the Smith Museum of Stained Glass on Chicago's Navy Pier.
The whimsical piece depicts about 8 kids and a duck on the back of a couch. A cat sleeps on the couch cushion and fried eggs float on the couch's lower section. The chair is part of a multi-piece work is entitled "TV Funtime" and is by artist Lois Kelller.
The other pieces of the work are a side chair and ottaman and a television featuring Bozo.
The placard sites a website which is no longer active.
It also indicates the sponsor as Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.
