This wall monument to Thomas and Dorithy Spencer was set up 1606, some 30 years after Thomas's death in 1576, by his daughter, Susana Temple, neé Spencer. It is of alabaster with English marble columns which have Corinthian capitals. A full set of Spencer coats-of-arms frame the inscription.

Thomas and Dorithy were distant ancestors of Diana, Princess of Wales.
