Country Squire Furniture was doing business at this location for many years. They specialized in colonial furniture. In keeping with this theme this fiberglass horse was placed in its current location hitched to a colonial era carriage. it became the de facto logo for the store. When the business was passed down from father to daughter the business name was changed to Cooper's and the line of merchandise was changed from furniture to unique gifts, curtains and accessories. The carriage was sold but the horse remained in place.

Background Story:
The carriage the horse was hitched to is gone but the horse remains (see long description). Strangely enough a silhouette of the carriage is used as the logo for Cooper's website but the horse is gone.
