Labeled "Mens" and "Womens", the outhouses could use some maintenance and cleaning, and do not appear overly inviting.
Each outhouse has two holes, and the Women's outhouse is larger, with an extra wall for additional privacy, which is useful considering there is a fire look-out tower hovering over the property.
The Plat Cemetery is adjacent the outhouses.
Location: My internet search gleaned no information about this church. I did learn that the hamlet of Plat had a post office from 1891-1960 according to this website: http://www.missouripostalhistory.org/da059bo.htm
The town of Glad became Plad due to a clerical error that was too hard to get fixed, according to this website: http://thelibrary.org/lochist/moser/dallaspl.html
The hamlet of Plad is fourteen and one-quarter miles northeast of Buffalo. It is located at Township 35 N, Range 19 W, Section 25, on Highway 64, west of the intersection of Highway K.
