This archway was sculpted by Greg Leavitt and Camille Leavitt and was unveiled in 2002.
This website (visit link) describes the work thusly:

"This installation features a twisting tropicalvine supporting life-sized figures of a green iguana, colobus monkey, boa constrictor, dragonflies and other animals.. . The arched vine springs from rusticated limestone plinths."
