A nice area to fish, kayak and boat. It also provides a place to sit and watch the river flow by. Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets and Double-crested cormorants feed in the area. A bald eagle flew overhead as we walked out to the bench. In fall, warblers are everywhere! We heard the whichety, whichety, whichety of the yellow warbler a great place to visit.
