"k kiosk" is the largest newstand chain of Switzerland with over 1,000 locations mostly in the German speaking part of Switzerland.
This one is located in a former tramway station building at Aeschenplatz in Basel. They sell newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, candy, lottery tickets. Open during normal business hours, not on weekends and during the night.
