This one-room schoolhouse stands on what is now the University of Southern Indiana. It is on the far west side of Evansville, IN. This is not the original location of the schoolhouse, as it was moved from its old location in 1993. It is now a part of the Bent Twig Outdoor Educational Center. The original building date is believed to have been 1895.
The school has been preserved well, as most of the exterior is original with the building. The inside has been remodeled, but kept to look original. Now, USI uses this building for seminars and other events.
