Newly refurbished McDonalds takes on a retro look.

When they decided to replace the McDonalds on Route 5 in Holyoke they chose a complete retro look. Classic 1950's Googie architecture with angled roof and wrap-around glass in front. Twin arches on either side - not double arches and the smiling hamburger logo complete the classic look. On the more modern side - there are twin drive-up windows and an outdoor eating area.
