Formally it was a slate mine that served the UK with roofing tiles and snooker table weights. The tiles were good to split but allot of the material has faults in them, so the mining was short lived.
It is set in a series of caves that were dug into a mountain to get slate and gold out of quartz seams, now put to a modern use. It has about 3 miles of caves set into the cliffs and about 1 miles of them is for this attraction. The other two miles can be done with a separate adult expedition, and is only for those with experience in areas such as this.
With a Dark Age boatman, sail through a waterfall and across a thousand years. Enjoy tales of King Arthur and other ancient Welsh legends as you explore the dramatic underground caverns of the Labyrinth.
