Originally constructed for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is one of the monumental buildings surrounding Civic Center Plaza.

This cornerstone is on Grove Street at Polk Avenue. This building was first known as Exhibition Auditorium and was built for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. It was one of the new attractions built to show that San Francisco had recovered from the Great 1906 Earthquake.

Today it is known as the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
