Blackford County is a small county but one to be proud of. The same can be said of the fair. Don't expect tons of "entertainment" outside of what a 4H fair is designed to be, kids and their projects. On that level you will not be disappointed. There are some carnival rides for the small kids and some food for the bigger ones and us grownups as well (of course the elephant ears are available).
I visited the fair about noon and on the first day of the fair this year. The only fair goers there were the folks with horses. I took pictures of the fair but it looks pretty deserted since the only people in the vendors area were the ones running the trailers but I really was there when the fair was going and open.
