The Museum has excellent exhibits that bring Lincoln's life in to full detail...with a replica of his boyhood log cabin, rooms in the White House, details of his political campaigns...and of course, the Civil War. There are several wax statues of Lincoln, his family, members of the cabinet, and even John Wilkes Booth.
The Library has a few other exhibits, but this site is mostly used by Lincoln scholars.
The Museum is located at 212 N. Sixth Street, Springfield, IL 62701 and is open 9-5 daily. Tickets are $12 for adults and are good for both the Museum and Library.
