With Community Preservation Act development funds and generous support from Berkshire Power Company, the Town of Agawam has converted this old prison farm property into a large park. Facilities include several athletic fields, hiking trails, boccie courts, horseshoe pit, basketball court and a modern children's playground.
The basketball court is just beautiful. It's regulation size, has hoops with nets, the playing surface is smooth and level, and the border around the court is soft and resilent.
