The Historic Loomis-Steiger Octagon House (aka the Watson-Steiger-Loomis House) is located at 28 King Street, Westfield, MA just north of the Westfield Municipal Building (City Hall). This historic structure was once owned by Albert Steiger, founder of the now defunct Steiger's Department Stores, once the premier shopping destination in western New England. It was build in 1858 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is currently in use as a private residence.
