These dedicated bricks line a courtyard and walkway on the west side of Old North, the site of Oklahoma Territory's first Normal School. There are a few thousand bricks here in the courtyard and in the walkway from the building to University Dr.
Around the brick-lined courtyard are several dedicated benches and the beautiful stone Morrisett Centennial Fountain.
On April 5, 1996, then President Bill Clinton gave a speech in this same courtyard. His visit was just prior to the first year anniversary of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Students and community members alike flocked to Old North to hear President Clinton speak.
