A flagpole and plaque in Greenwood Memory Lawn are a simple veterans memorial. The flagpole appears to have been dedicated on Memorial Day. This one, and another flagpole with a memorial, have various veterans' graves around them. From those markers, you can get a feel for the varied ways in which the men and women of the Armed Forces served our state and nation.
