The American Revolution Bicentennial 1976-1976 plaque reads:

Spring Lake Picnic Grove

Dedicated to the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the United States of America and sponsored by the Utah American Revolution Bicentennial Commission and Payson City Beautification Committee.

The picnic grove is a gift to the community of Spring Lake and was done under the leadership of Keith Holman. Thousands of hours of volunteer work to plan the trees, dredge the lake and develop the grove matched the Bicentennial grant.
