Louis B Hazelton died in France in WW I, the first death in that war from this small community. In 1938, a cemetery was established and named the Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery in his honor. A big honor, and in this large memorial cemetery, is a small general veterans memorial with a flag. It is a memorial within a memorial.
