This is a fantastic view area to see the valley and get an education of the area with all the information signs in the lookout gazebo at the top of the hill. As you drive north on highway 191 out of Vernal the road climbs and zigzags up to nice view area. From this vintage point you can view the valley and see an active mining operation below. The information signs explain the reclamation process and the effects on wildlife and the natural nature environment. This is a great place to stop along the scenic byway and enjoy nature. Parking is available within a 100 feet of the gazebo and signs.

To see this nice view take highway 191 north from Vernal and travel approx. 15 miles to the view area.
