Monument is located to the right of the front entrance of the Fayette County Courthouse. The memorial was placed on the courthouse's lawn in 1990. The memorial honors the veterans from Fayette County who fought in World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam Wars. Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corp, and POW-MIA are represented.

 Description of Memorial: Stone monument with three stones. The center stone is taller and have the different branches of the military inscribed in it. The two stones on each side of the center stone has the war and the name of veterans who served in those wars inscribed in it.
