Long Description:
The Strawberry River Discovery Trail is a great place to view the wildlife and plant life along the Strawberry River. This Ribbons of Life: Stream-side Vegetation plaque is just one of the many interesting signs along the trail. The area is call a riparian zone. A riparian zone is the area of change between a stream and neighboring upland areas. There are numerous viewing areas along the boardwalk with signage to help explain the interesting things one can see. This is a great opportunity to bring a camera and take great nature photographs. Also kids will love to see the wildlife such as cotton tail bunnies and barn swallows.

To find this great Discovery Trail go east 23 miles from Heber City on US Highway 40 to the Strawberry Marina turn off. Park at the Strawberry Visitor Center.
