The plaque reads:
"This M-60, forty five ton army tank was donated by the Kansas Army National Guard and Lt. Col. Joe Broyles to the Galena Volunteer Fire Department through the efforts of Fire Chief Bill Hall. We give sincere appreciation to the following benefactors for contributing $100 to cover the costs of relocation from Fort Riley Kansas.
