In 1922, Monica Flin opened El Charro Cafe in Tucson, Arizona. The current location of the El Charro Cafe is the old Flin residence (constructed in the 1890s). El Charro has operated from this location since 1968. Originally El Charro was located on South Fourth Avenue. It was moved to 330 S. Scott Ave. in 1903 and again to 140 W. Broadway in 1935. Urban renewal forced a final move for El Charro, this time to the home at 311 N. Court Ave. Today, El Charro is run by Monica Flin's niece.
