Located in Clark County, South Dakota, Bradley has a population of 90, as of July 2009, and has dropped about 20% in population from the 2000 census.
The area was settled by German, Norwegian, English, Swedish, and French immigrants and the town was incorporated on February 4, 1904.
The town was named after E.R. Bradley, who rescued a railroad chief engineer from a brawl during the 1870s.
As with any small town, once the school closes, the town really starts to decline in business and population. The same holds true for Bradley. It continues to be a farm related community but the citizens of town are full of pride and do many community events to keep people coming to the town.
The cemetery has around 500 graves and has a little room to expand.
