Long Description:

James A. Wetmore was the Acting Supervising Architect for this 1916 Classical Revival brick building located at 1211 Daniels in downtown Vancouver.

Since the main post office moved to Caples off Fourth Plain, the downtown post office sees very little business. It used to remain open all night but had some vandalism so it closes at 9:00 PM and opens early in the morning.
