Red Canyon Campground is located atop steep cliffs overlooking Flaming Gorge Reservoir, along Red Canyon Road at an elevation of 7,400 feet. Lodgepole pines provide partial shade; summer wildflowers and grasses are plentiful.

Directions: Located on Forest Road 095/Red Canyon Road off Hwy 44 between Vernal, Utah and Manila, Utah; approximately 40 miles north of Vernal, UT on Hwy 191, 80 miles south of Rock Springs, WY on Hwy 191, 80 miles south of Green River, WY on Hwy 530, and 205 miles east of Salt Lake City, UT.
