The city of Dodge Center is located in the "center" of Dodge County Minnesota. It has a total area of 1.9 square miles of land in the southeastern part of the state. The population was 2,226 at the 2000 census.
Dodge Center was incorporated in 1872, it's main industry being agriculture. It's largest employer today is McNeilus, a manufacturer of ready-mixed concrete mixers and garbage trucks.
