The founding meeting of the TJ Sokol Vrsovice took place on September 13th 1869. The first exercise took place in the public gardens and spaces. The first Sokol House TJ Vrsovice was built in 1877. In 1906, however, this house was sold because it was not enough for large number of members.
The construction of a new gym was delayed by WWI and the global crisis. The current building was completed in 1933.
In the past 40 years, the internal design of building has changed and the building does not fully serve its original purpose now. Nevertheless, it houses a number of sports clubs and divisions - skiing, handball, fencing, archery, hockey and judo.
