This is an old service station preserved along old Route 66 in Monrovia, California. The three Flying A brand gas pumps a reminder of a time when you could just say, "Fill 'er up with the Ethyl!" Located on the corner of Shamrock and Walnut.

This former Flying A service station has been preserved, although nothing really has been done with it - just sitting empty on the corner of Shamrock and Walnut Streets in Monrovia, California. It must have many stories to tell. . . .
Despite being widely photographed, there seems to be no information about its former history or who is preserving it now.
