Just east of the center of Newbury, New Hampshire, Route 103 hugs the shoreline of Lake Sunapee, and passes Gordon's Mobil gas station which is now on a loop of the old road, but very close to the present route. It was built in 1960, and still maintained, though not functional, as a landmark for those driving through the heart of New Hampshire's Lake Sunapee region.
