A sundial above the main enterance decorates the pink facade of the Church of Santa Maria in Calvi.

Although the gnomon is missing, the lines are in place. They indicate a morning sundial, declining to the east. The sundial and the façade of the church is in good condition except for the missing gnomon.
This pink (Rousse) coloured church is in a busy tourist area of Calvi, in the lower town, below the citadel and above the port, It is difficult to photograph as it is surrounded by cafes and buildings. The baroque interior is also impressive. The dome creates a circular interior with side scenes for various saints but the focus is on the main altar and Santa Maria.
