Nice brick memorial to the early settlers and pioneers of the Sebeka, MN area. The large memorial sits in Sebeka Park just off of Highway 71. Behind the memorial a large park has a playground, historical society with several orignal buildings, and much more. It is a great, green area to stretch the legs.

The plaque on the memorial reads:

This monument is erected and dedicated to the memory of the early pioneers and settlers who came to this community in 1882 and later.

The courage, perseverance and faith of these early pioneers was instrumental in opening this community to agricultural development.

Their memory lives forever.

Dedicated by the Finnish American Historical Society Chapter 38 Sebeka Minnesota

Erected October 1956
Location: Sebeka Park
