Long Description:
The only information on this homemade tombstone is the name of the interred, Cora Lozier, on a piece of metal attached to the front side of the tombstone. MOTHER is etched out on the top of her headstone and some colorful marbles fill the letters, although most of them are now missing. Her birth date and death date are unknown.

ABOUT THE CEMETERY:

Walnut Hill Cemetery was established in 1816 and is still active. The cemetery is located on the south side of Rathmell Road about 0.3 miles west of Lockbourne Road. The cemetery is very well maintained by the Walnut Hill Board of Managers. There are abour 1,300 graves in the cemetery.
