The church dates back to before the 13th century and has many interesting features. The model boat made by The Vietnamese Boat People is housed in the church; see details on RAF Sopley.
In the north aisle is a window dedicated to the memory of Mary Anne Paris. She drowned in the Avon Run at Mudeford at the age of 19 in 1867.
On the south side of the chancel is a window showing the story of Tobias from the Apocrypha. Tobias is a representation for Henry Ashworth Lucas who was son of the Vicar William Henry Lucas. He died in 1881 serving in India aged 25.
The remaining windows show the Crucifixion and date to the Victorian era. There are some old heraldic pieces of glass dating to 1522 which can be found in the top of the East window.
Within the church is a mural dating to 1984, also featured in the gallery. Also, a memorial shelf and plaque to John Bramble is shown.
