The stone plaque is set into the ground at the northern side of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. The plaque reads, around the outside:

"On this site stood the Tudor Palace of Greenwich. Built by King Henry VII."

On the inside, the plaque reads:

"Birth place of King Henry VIII in 1491 and his daughters Queen Mary I in 1516 and Queen Elizabeth I in 1533"
