Who was Stu Peppard?
John "Stu" Peppard coached midget and juvenile hockey from 1945 to 1948. He also refereed hockey in the Calgary community leagues from 1945 to 1952. He held numerous executive positions at the community level and served as President of the Alberta Amateur Hockey Association from 1964 to 1967. "Stu" Peppard was also an executive member of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association.
