A standard unnamed State of Oklahoma Dept. of Highways disk located along state highway 66 on the west end of the south headwall of the west bridge over Bird Creek in northern Catoosa, OK. The disk looks rather old and is stamped ELEV 586.27. This steel truss bridge was formerly over the Verdigris River, before the McClellan-Kerr Navigation System was constructed. The river has been re-routed to the northeast. The bridge is currently closed due to its deteriorating condition, and will presumably be destroyed or refurbished in the near future.
